Lavender in your daily routine

Lavender is a familiar item in Moroccan homes; here is its traditional use, how to use it and the precautions.

Lavender (الخزامى)

Dried lavender scents wardrobes; its oil is used for massage.

How to use: External use only: a few drops diluted in a carrier oil for a gentle massage. Do not swallow or apply to broken skin or near the eyes.

A simple routine with lavender

• A few drops of lavender on hair ends or as a massage after the shower, external use only.
• Lavender can be combined with hammam staples such as black soap and the kessa glove.
• Keep it simple: one or two regular steps beat many irregular ones.
• Watch how your skin or hair responds and stop if any irritation appears.

External-use ideas for lavender
